Special attractions include the Natural History Centre and a planetarium. The museum is part of National Museums Liverpool. World Museum is close to the entrance to the Queensway Tunnel.
Hours of operation: Tuesday through Sunday & Bank Holidays 10.00 (10:00 am) to 17.00 (5:00 pm). Entry to the museum is free. There is pay and display parking outside the museum on William Brown Street and behind the museum on Hunter Street using the "Phone and Pay" app. The nearest other car parking is for pay by the hour at Q-Park at Queen Square.
Ideally you should bring your own £1s. The site is very busy, and not all the staff in the souvenir shop or nearby cafe will give you change (even if you explain it is for their penny machines).
Machine 1 is in the main foyer near to the elevators. Cost to press: £1.01 for each design. Designs all have a beaded border with 'World Museum Liverpool':
