6/18/2020 Visitor center is open, but is dependent on whether or not the volunteer shows up on any day. I called the day before I went (on a Wednesday) and was told it was scheduled to be open but is the volunteer who was scheduled had an emergency, it might not be. The address didn't show up on my GPS, but once you are in the area, the signage is good, so easy to find. The road up to the cross is like someone's 5 mile long twisty, curvy driveway. I'm sure 2 cars would fit if they had to pass, but I'm lucky. Didn't pass anyone going in or coming out. As luck would have it, the volunteer scheduled to be there that morning called off. However, there was a man who was weedwhacking and he opened up and let me in.
