The Furnace Creek Visitor Center is located inside Death Valley in the Furnace Creek area on California Highway 190 at Airport Road. Furnace Creek is 30 miles from Death Valley Junction and 24 miles from Stovepipe Wells Village. It is the main visitor information source for the Death Valley National Park. There is a fully staffed information desk with information on all aspects of the park and its operation. The Death Valley Natural History Association maintains a bookstore specifically geared towards the natural and cultural history of the park.

Open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, every day of the year including holidays.
Plenty of free parking.

The National Park fee is $30 to enter Death Valley National Park. Pay at the Visitor's Center.

2/15: The machine was moved here from Scotty's Castle when it was badly damaged in a flood/ mud slide in 2015.
