4581 US-89 Kanab, UT , 84741 Phone: (435)644-8525 Website Moqui Cave, a Southern Utah landmark, is a natural history museum featuring Native American artifacts and a large collection of dinosaur tracks.
Within Moqui Cave is a large display of Native American artifacts along with unique fluorescent rocks and minerals from around the world. Also on display are a sizeable collection of pre-Columbian artifacts from Mexico and more than 1,000 arrowheads. Centuries-old ceremonial pots, jugs, bowls and working tools provide some anthropological clues into the early lives of the Anasazi and Navajo Indians.
Moqui Cave is located on scenic Highway 89, just 5.5 miles north of Kanab.
The museum and gift shop are open during the summer season from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Cost of admission is $7 per adult $5 for teens. You must pay to access the museum and gift shop. The ticket taker acts as a brief tour guide.
The large parking area can easily accommodate RVs or buses.
The machine is located just inside the entrance to the cave. It can be accessed without paying the admission for the tour.
