Probably ordered by Odon de Bayeux, William’s half-brother, and made in the years following the conquest, this 70 meter long and 50 cm high embroidery shows the clothes, the castles, the ships and the conditions of life in the 11th century.
Hours of operation: March 3 to October 31 9:00 am to 18:30 (6:30 pm / 7:00 pm May to August), November 1 to February 28 9:30 am to 18:00 closed for lunch 12:30 to 2:00 pm. Closed December 24, 25, 26 and the entire month of January.
No on-site parking.
The token machines are at the end of the tour after the gift shop.
