The Saint Louis Science Center, founded as a planetarium in 1963, is a collection of buildings including a Science Museum and a Planetarium on the southeastern corner of Forest Park. With over 750 exhibits in a complex of over 300,000 square feet, it is among the largest of its type in the country.

The gift shop in the Science Center has the Eagle penny book for sale, along with the Pennybandz necklaces and bracelets.
12/31/2020 - Machine 9 at the base of the stairs near the main entrance is no longer there. It may have moved to another area of Science Center, but I couldn't find it.
It appears that Machine #8 has been replaced by machine 10 in the Planetarium. Machine 10 designs cost $1 each, the machine has preloaded zinc pennies.
Machine 10 designs are: 1) Farm Combine "Grow-Agriculture" 2) Skeleton "Life Science Lab" 3) Rocket Ship and Atom "Energy Stage" 4) Silhouette of the James S. McDonnell Planetarium, and rolled a bit off center.
