From the late 1970's until his death in 1996 Frank was the most prolific engraver, roller and manufacturer of elongated coins and machines. He also engraved hobo nickels. Brazzell maintained a list of all the elongates he created. He published 'Elongated Coins by Frank Brazzell' in a three ring binder and would send photocopied sheets of his latest works to those who subscribed to receive updates.
While he engraved hundreds of designs, we don't know how many of each were rolled or what denominations were used although he is known to have rolled on cents, nickels, dimes, quarters and halves ($US).
