Heidelberg , Germany The Königstuhl, is a 567.8 metres high hill in the Odenwald Mountains and in the city of Heidelberg, in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The Königstuhl summit allows visitors views of the city of Heidelberg and the Neckar river. Königstuhl translates to King’s seat in English.
This is located on top of the hill in Heidlberg. Take the funicular completely to the top - above the castle. On the top is a park area with views. After exiting the train, turn left. A round trip ticket all the way to Konigstuhl costs €12, but this includes entrance to the castle and two separate cable cars so it's not a bad deal.
No admission needed to access machine.
The machine is located not far from the terminal, overlooking the views of the city. Designs are:
1) 'Konigstuhl Heidelberg', towers on top of a hill,
2) 'Heidelberg Bruckenfor', city skyline,
3) 'Heidelberger Berghahnen', Trolley cars.
10/24/16 New 3 design machine in the exact same location. Takes 1,05 per design.
