It also offers a complete gift store stocked with books about the park and the region, posters, history, T-shirts, hats, postcards, and maps.
The Visitor's center is just inside the entrance to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area before the pay gate.
The 601 Nevada Way Boulder City address is their business office and does not have a Machine or tokens.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Closed: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
You do not have to pay park admission fees to access the Visitor Center.
The gift shop sells the 1" mini-tokens for $1.00 each and the token book that they fit in for $4.99, both include the tax in the price.
Plenty of free parking.
There are two penny machines within a 10 minute drive: One at the Hoover Dam Lodge Hotel & Casino and another within the Lake Mead Recreational area at the Las Vegas Boat Harbor outside the Harbor House Cafe. There is a $25 entrance fee to access the boat harbor one.
There is also a penny machine in the Hoover Dam Mercantile at Hoover Dam about 13 min. away. There is a $10 fee to park at the Hoover Dam parking garage.
Machine 1 (Placed 6/2018) is inside across from the cash register. Cost to press: 51¢ each design. Designs all have a beaded border with 'Lake Mead National Recreation Area':
