The North Carolina Zoological Park is located in Asheboro in Randolph County, in the Uwharrie Mountains near the geographic center of the state, approximately 75 miles west of Raleigh. At over 2,000 acres, it is the largest walk-through zoo in the world and one of only two state-owned zoos in the United States. The North Carolina Zoo has over 1100 animals from more than 250 species primarily representing Africa and North America.

Current Machines are found at 5 locations: North America Entrance, Junction Plaza, Restrooms next to the Elephant Exhibit, at the Burger shop near the Garden Friends Playground, and Africa Entrance.

All machines have been converted to $1 zinc machines. All designs now cost $1.00 (pay with credit card or bills only, no coins).

Machine 10: Near the restrooms by the vending machine, located between the Giraffe's dock and the Elephant exhibit.
Designs are: 1) Rattlesnake 2) Puffin 3) Giraffe.

Machine 11:located at Burger Shop and restroom area across from the Garden Friends Playground.
Designs are: 1) Polar Bear 2) Wolf (button is broken) 3) Polar Bear Mom & Baby

Machine 12: 2017 Near the restrooms by the vending machine, located between the Giraffe's dock and the Eleghant's exhibit
Designs are: 1) Bison (Buffalo), 2) Flamingo, 3) Bear

Machine 13: (2022) - is located at Wild Burger in the North America food court.
