The park lies completely within the White Sands Missile Range. Located on the northernmost boundaries of the Range.
The Trinity Site is where the first atom bomb was detonated.
The visitor center is located on U.S. Highway 70/82, 15 miles (24.15km) southwest of Alamogordo and 52 miles east of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

12/18/2024: Machine 3 is still outside of the North entrance to the White Sands Trading Company Gift Shop. I did not have issues with the alignment of the presses, but the condition of the preloaded pennies was disappointing.
Machine 2 was nowhere to be found. |
