The walls of Black Hills Caverns consist of two types of limestone (coeymans and manlius). <p> The machine is located in the "Mountain Gallery" room, just inside the door. It is a hand crank machine. Designs are: <br> 1) A picture of a bat and says, "Black Hills Caverns, Rapid City, SD". <br> 2) A picture of stalagmites and stalactites and also says, "Black Hills Caverns, Rapid City, SD". <br> 3) A picture of Mt. Rushmore and says, "Mount Rushmore". <br> 4) A picture of a horseshoe and a four leaf clover and says, "My Lucky Penny.
