Its history dates back to 1849. Known then as the Raffles Library and Museum, the museum moved to its current premises on Stamford Road in 1887.
Token Machine 1: located inside the gift shop on the ground floor. This is a temporary gift shop location since the museum is going through large renovations. They will let you in if you are just there for the gift shop, other entrance is $12 SGD on site or about $8 SGD from Agoda.
