Oberhaus 125 Passau, Germany, 94034 Phone: +49 851 396800 Website Veste Oberhaus is a fortress that was founded in 1219 and, for most of its time, served as the stronghold of the Bishop of Passau. It is currently the site of a museum, a youth hostel, and a restaurant, as well as an open-air theatre dating to 1934.
Hours of operation for the Fortress: March 15 through November 15; Monday through Friday 09.00 (9:00 am) to 17.00 (5:00 pm) and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays 10.00 (10:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm). Winter opening times: December 25 through January; daily 10.00 (10:00 am) to 16.00 (4:00 pm), closed on New Year's Eve.
There is public parking for a fee.
This is a Euroscope combination Euro cent / Token machine located at the outside observation deck adjacent to the outdoor dining area and is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Machine 1 is on the observation deck outside. Cost to press: €1.05 each design (€1 coin and a 5 Euro cent coin). Designs all have a beaded border with 'Passau':
