Pick up travel brochures, travel tips and find friendly trip-planning assistance when you stop by. There is staff on hand during business hours to help with questions about what to see and do in Georgia. Take westbound mile marker 201 exit (look for the blue sign) off of I-20 at the border with South Carolina. You cannot reach the Visitor Information Center on eastbound I-20.
The penny machine is located in the welcome center. The restrooms are open 24 hours but the area where the machine is located may only be open 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Plenty of free parking.
Designs all have a dotted border, have 'RR' at the catch notch and cost 50 cents (two quarters only) each on a penny that you supply:
1. (H) A peach and a musical score with 'Georgia On My Mind'.
2. (V) A peach and an outline of the State of Georgia with 'Georgia'.
3. (V) A sea turtle in front of a lighthouse with 'Georgia Coast'.
4. (V) A smiling peanut running with 'Nuts About Georgia',
