Penny machine is gone, woman at front said that about a week ago the machine broke and was removed due to lack of parts to fix. <p> Ethel M is owned by Mars, Incorporated (they also own M&Ms) and was named after the mother of Forrest Mars Sr. This is an outlet for gourmet Mars-family-made chocolates; no M&M or Mars products are made here. A self guided tour of the chocolate factory is free. Customers who visit the cactus garden, opened in 1981, are welcome to take a free self guided tour of the botanical cactus garden of over 300 species. The botanical cactus garden is also host to several community events throughout the year, including the Cactus Lighting Event hosted every November. The M&M's World store at this location has been removed and has been replaced by a small Ethel M gift store.<br> Very friendly staff and great candy!!<p> Hours of operation: Sunday through Thursday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday & Saturday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. <br> If you want to take a tour of the chocolate making factory: Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
