26611 US Highway 385 Hot Springs, SD , 57747-6027 Phone: (605) 745-4600 Website Wind Cave National Park is a hidden world beneath the prairie. Bison, Elk, and other wildlife roam the rolling prairie grasslands and forested hillsides of one of America's oldest national parks. Below the remnant island of intact prairie sits Wind Cave, one of the longest and most complex caves in the world. Named for barometric winds at its entrance, this maze of passages is home to boxwork (thin blades of calcite), a unique formation rarely found elsewhere. The temperature inside the cave remains 54°F (11°C) year round.
Hours of operation: Spring, Summer and Fall: Monday through Sunday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Winter: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Closed New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Snow and severe weather can limit access to some remote parts of the park, especially in winter. For current road and trail conditions call the visitor center at (605) 745-4600. Check road conditions on your route before traveling to the park. Plenty of free parking.

The penny machine is rolling a well centered excellent image on 95% copper pre-1982 pennies.
I talked to the store manager and she pressed a coin for me on my copper penny and let me take a picture of the machine. This machine is the same machine used to press the pennies for Wind Cave National Park and Jewel Cave National Monument. The tokens are of great quality.
