The facility is the third largest conservatory in Illinois, offering an 11,000-square-foot plant exhibition area complete with water features, seating areas, and sculptures, all in a tropical plant setting. The beauty continues outdoors with the Eclipse Lagoon, complete with two fountains and a waterfall, pedestrian bridge, patio areas, and walkway connecting the Conservatory to the Sinnissippi Rose Garden. <p> <b>Machine 1:</b> is located in the main lobby to the right as you enter the building. All have 'Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens Rockford, Illinois' on them. Designs are: <br> 1) A Corpse Flower, <br> 2) A Koi fish, <br> 3) 'Food Truck Tuesdays', Food truck. <br> 4) Trolley Car #36 <p> <b>Removed Machine 1 designs:</b> <p> Retired from Machine 1: <br> 1) (9/18) Butterfly and Lorikeet. (Replaced by Trolley Car #36). <br> 2) (8/21) NCG logo and Palm Tree <br> 3) (9(/24) Venus Flytrap. (Replaced by the Corpse flower) <p> 6/27/17: New Machine put into service. <p> 8/21 Replaced the NCG logo and Palm tree with the New Venus flytrap and 'Food Truck Tuesday' design.
