The penny machine is located inside the visitor's center, to the left of the restroom, Designs all have 'New Mexico' on the front, are all two-sided mules with 'New Mexico True' on the backs and cost 51 cent. Designs are:
1) (H) A space alien giving the peace sign and a flying saucer in the background.
2) (V) A balloon and Shiprock mountain.
3) (V) Stalactites and stalagmites with 'Carlsbad Caverns National Parks'.
4) (V) Outline of the state and the state flag design in the middle with '1912 Land of Enchantment.
