Charlotte Motor Speedway, formerly Lowe's Motor Speedway, is a motorsports complex located 13 miles from Charlotte. The complex features a 1.5 mile quad oval track that hosts NASCAR racing including the prestigious Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend, the Sprint All-Star Race, and the Bank of America 500.

The 2,000 acres complex also features a state-of-the-art quarter mile drag racing strip, ZMAX Dragway. It is the only all-concrete, four-lane drag strip in the United States and hosts NHRA events. Alongside the drag strip is a state-of-the-art clay oval that hosts dirt racing including the World of Outlaws finals among other popular racing events.

A new Pennyman 4 design hand crank machine was installed here. Designs are:
1) 'Z-Max Dragway',
2) 'Coca-Cola 600',

4) 'The Dirt Track'

5/16: Machine 2, the single design machine, is retired.

9/6/22 Machine was relocated to a different building, by the ZMAX Dragway. Pennies were rolling EXTREMELY long and VERY off center on copper. I spoke to a very nice worker about it and she said that she would put in a call to the penny machine man. Approx. three weeks later I rec’d three zinc pennies in the mail from her. I am going to try a “mail way” with coppers. CG/TEC #5440
