201 West Riverside Dr. Clarksville , IN , 47129 Phone: 812-280-9970 Website Located on the banks of the Ohio River at 201 West Riverside Drive, Clarksville, Indiana (I-65 exit 0), is the Falls of the Ohio State Park. The 386-million-year-old fossil beds are among the largest exposed Devonian fossil beds in the world. The park features a spectacular interpretive center overlooking the fossil beds. New interactive, immersive exhibits can be seen.
While the interpretive center is closed, the rest of the property is open. Fishing, hiking, fossil viewing, bird watching and picnicking are among the most common activities.
While fossil collecting is prohibited, the park staff encourages visitors to explore and discover the many different types of fossils that can be found on the ancient sea bottom.
The machine is inside interpretive center. It is a 4 design hand crank machine. All designs are mules with "Falls Of The Ohio State Park" on the reverse side. The four designs are:
1 - (H) - Elephant like creature with "Falls of the Ohio Start Park" around the beaded border,
2 - (H) - Circle logo of the Falls of the Ohio State Park, with beaded border,
3 - (V) - Fish "Falls of the Ohio State Park" around the beaded border,
4 - (V) - Fossil creature with "Falls of the Ohio State Park" around the beaded border.
