The center contains several permanent exhibits and hosts temporary, traveling, exhibits as well. The permanent exhibits are on the four trails that run together through Wyoming; The Oregon Trail, the Mormon Pioneer Trail, the California Trail and the Pony Express Trail.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed on Federal Holidays. No admission charge for the museum.
Plenty of free parking.
Machine 1 (Placed December 2015) is between the front door and theater entrance. Cost to press: 51¢ each design. Designs all have a beaded border with 'National Historic Trails Interpretive Center':
1) (H) Covered wagon with 'Oregon Trail'.
2) (H) Miner panning for gold with 'California Trail'.
3) (H) Rider on horse with 'Pony Express'.
4) (H) One man pushing and one man pulling a cart with 'Mormon Trail'.
