RT <p> Rainforest Café is a themed restaurant chain owned by Landry's, Inc. of Houston, Texas. The first location opened on February 3, 1994. Each Rainforest Café restaurant is designed to depict some features of a rainforest, including plant growth, mist, waterfalls, animatronic robots of animals and insects. Some animals include elephants, gorillas, jaguars and the recently added tigers. To enhance this theme, the restaurants are populated by animatronic figures.<p> The relocated Rainforest Café @ Harmon Center opened on September 2, 2015 with a brand new penny machine. None of the three machines from the old MGM location are here and all have been retired. The new machine is located to the extreme right of the entrance.<p> New machine.$1 each on pre-loaded Zinc pennies. <p> Designs are: Located in the restaurant entrance to the right.
