Suncoast Blvd. Homosassa Springs, FL , 34446 Phone: 352-628-5343 Website A 45 foot deep natural spring is the centerpiece of this more than 210 acre large park, located on US 19 in Homosassa Springs. The Springs are the headwaters of the beautiful Homosassa River that flows nine miles west into the Gulf of Mexico. Saltwater and freshwater fish are attracted to these natural springs with their constant, year-round temperature of 72 degrees F. A floating underwater observatory inside the springs allow the visitor to view fish and manatee at close range. About 350 volunteers help in the operation, maintenance and improvement of the park.

6/16/2023: These machines are both still here, at the west entrance of the park. To get there, you can either park off Fishbowl Dr or take a tram from the Visitors Center off US-98. The machines are located just down the hall from the gift shop, around the corner from the cafe, but prior to the ticket kiosk. You could get these pennies without paying for admission. Designs remain the same as in the pictures below, with Machine 2 rolling just a bit short, and Machine 3 just right. |
