Website

King Ludwig II started construction of the castle in 1869. The castle has 360 rooms with only 14 finished with designs, the other 346 rooms were left undone because of the death of Ludwig. It is the most photographed building in Germany, and is one of Germany's most popular tourist destinations. Neuschwanstein Castle, along with Hohenschwangau Castle, is located, near Hohenschwangau and Füssen in southwest Bavaria, not far from the Austrian border.

Machine 1, (three designs), is located in parking lot 4 (bus parking) by the water closet building.
Machines 2 and 3 are now by the small wooden building at the first souvenir shop on the way from the bus station to the ticket office and to the left of the ticket office at the small souvenir shop
Machine 4 a new machine at the souvenir shop halfway up the hill to the castle. It has 4 designs for one 2 Euro coin and a 5 cent piece each.

October 21st, 2022. Machine 2 and 3 are now by the small wooden building at the first souvenir shop on the way from the bus station to the ticket office and to the left of the ticket office at the small souvenir shop. They're easy to see if you keep an eye out.
There's also a new machine at the souvenir shop halfway up the hill to the castle. It has 4 designs for one 2 Euro coin and a 5 cent piece each. I didn't try the second machine, but the other 3 were rolling well.
