Comments:	<b>Kentucky Down Under</b> is an Australia-themed animal park that also has a showcave. Rainbow lorikeets may be hand-fed in the aviary and kangaroos may be patted at the Outback Walkabout. Other Australian animals onsite include laughing kookaburra, emu, dingo, and black swan, as well as other exotic animals from around the globe. Mammoth Onyx Cave, formerly known as Kentucky Caverns, is a constant 60 F showcave which features flowstone formations (sometimes called cave onyx) as well as stalagmites, stalactites, and cave pools. Thirty minute tours are offered, and include a moderate number of stair steps.<p> The penny machine is located inside the main entrance building / gift shop. Admission to KDU is not required to access the machine, but is highly recommended as the park was heaps of fun!<p> Designs - all say "Kentucky Down Under"<br> 1) the old KDU logo, with a kangaroo hopping past the sun<br> 2) a rainbow lorikeet<br> 3) kangaroo with a joey in her pouch<p> 7/15/23.
