This small shop at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Las Palmas Avenue is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. It does a full range of tattoos on any part of the body and has more than 30 years of inking experience. Just about any sort of tattoo is possible, from full-color portraits to creative, abstract images. The shop also does full-body piercing and sells an array of accessories, including rings, studs and hoops. Also a smoke shop, California Tattoo sells pipes and smoking accessories. Both walk-ins and appointments are accepted.<p> The penny machine is outside in front of the store entry alcove across the street from Hollywood Happyland and the Bazaar Market and may not be available after hours. Hours of operation: Monday through Thursday 10:00 am to 3:00 am, Friday and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 am, Sunday 10:00 am to 12:00 am (Midnight). Unless you can find on street parking, use the Hollywood and Highland parking garage which is one block away. With entrances on Highland Avenue and Orange Drive, Hollywood & Highland offers the best and cheapest parking in the heart of Hollywood. Only $2.00 for up to 2 hours with validation from participating shops, restaurants and nightclubs. $2.00 for up to 4 hours with validation from The TCL Chinese Theatre and the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres; $1.00 for every 15 minutes thereafter. Daily maximum is $15.00. $15 flat rate on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays after 10 pm. Valet Parking available for an additional $8.00 fee.
