Knoxville Zoo is a 53-acre zoo located just east of downtown Knoxville, near exit 392 of Interstate 40. The zoo is home to about 800 animals and welcomes over 400,000 visitors each year.

The admission price is required to access the machines.

Designs cost $1 each and supply a Zinc penny.

Machine #7 (2016) is at the covered elephant area . Designs are:
1) Mandrill,
3) Zoo Logo,
3) Raccoon,
4) Turtle,

Machine #8 (2016) is at the tiger viewing area past the gift shop.
1) Ape,
2) Elephant,
3) Giraffe,
4) Rhino

Token Machine 1: Zoo Logo on back of each. designs are:
1) Giraffe,
2) Gorilla,
3) African Lion,
4) Red Panda

Token Mach9ne 2:
Need scan/ picture of designs, front and back, on a plain white background.

Machines 1 through 6 are retired.

Retired 5: 1) Tortoise, 2) Elephant, 3) Gorilla, 4) Kids Cove logo,
Retired 6: 1) African Penguin, 2) Butterfly, 3) Black Bear, 4) Red Panda face.

4/16: Pennyman Token Machine added.

5/16: Machines 7 and 8 were installed here. Machines 5 and 6 were retired.

6/1/2023 - There are two penny machines present both are preloaded zinc machines. One near entrance/exit the other near the elephants. There are also now two token machines.
