The Gift Shop is currently selling the Second Edition State of Indiana PennyCollector Souvenir Coin Album that contains a unique penny design for $5.99. The design of the penny is of an Indy 500 race car. The text on the penny says 'Indiana' with a stylized racing flag and appears to read "racing fan".
No admission charge to access the pennies. A change machine is adjacent to the penny machine and accepts 1 and 5 dollar bills.
Machine 3 has 4 designs say "Indiana State Museum". Machine is located by the entrance to the gift shop on the second level. Designs are:
1. (H) Two mastadons.
2. (V) Indiana carved into a wood pole.
3. (V) The Soldiers and Sailors monument.
4. (H) An early steam engine.
