Markt 1 Brugge (Bruges), Belgium, 8000 Phone: +32 50 27 03 11 Website Historium is a visitor center at the Grote Markt in Brugge which tries to give a historically accurate picture of medieval Brugge at the time of Jan van Eyck. In seven themed rooms, a story is told through multimedia applications with a variety of special effects. It also includes a theme café (the Duvelorium ), a souvenir shop, a terrace and a section of the town tourist office. Historium was officially opened on 25 November 2012.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 11.00 (11:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm) until August 31st 2024. Last entrance at 16.30 (4:30 pm).
Admission: Adults: € 25, Seniors (65+): € 21, Students / Youth: € 21, Children (6 - 12 years): € 17, Children aged 0 - 2: free, Family Pass: € 37,00 (incl. 2 adults and 2 or 3 children aged 3 - 12), Disabled persons: € 21.
Historium has no parking. The best option is to park the in Parking Centrum Station. This parking is the largest and cheapest public car park in Bruges. Other car parks within walking distance: Centrum 't Zand, Zilverpand, Biekorf or 't Pandreitje.
Machine 1 is on the second floor exhibition: use the elevator for direct access to the machine. Cost to press: 1€ for each design that uses a supplied copper colored blank. Designs all have 'Brugge' on them:
1. (H) Brugge Belfort.
2. (V) Historium Logo with 'Historium'.
3. (V) Crest of Brugge.
Token Machine in the ground floor corridor before ticket counter, has silver colored designs that cost 2€ a piece (A 2€ coin or two 1€ coins only):
