Comments:	The Maui Ocean Center is an Aquarium and Marine Science Center. Opened on March 13, 1998, by Coral World International, the three acre facility is the largest tropical reef aquarium in the Western Hemisphere. It is the largest public aquarium on Maui, and undertakes projects to grow artificial coral reefs to later introduce back into the wild. The Center also includes exhibits on coral reef habitats such as sea turtles, sharks, and Humpback whales.<p> Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. An admission fee is required for entry. <br> Pre-purchased tickets are currently required. If you ask at the front desk that you just want to press the pennies, they will allow you to go to the gift shop free of charge. <br> Plenty of free parking.<p> <b>Machine 9</b> (Place 2016) is just inside the gift shop entry doors.
