Dedicated on October 12, 1963, the PCC occupies 42 acres and is owned by nearby Brigham Young University–Hawaii, (BYU Hawaii) where most of the 700 performers and other employees are students. Although it is largely a commercial venture, PCC profits fund various BYU Hawaii scholarship programs run by BYU Hawaii.
Machine 7: (PCC Machine #1) All have 'Polynesian Cultural Center' on them. Located in front of the Ukulele Experience Gallery. Admission not required. Designs are:
1) Hawaiian Hibiscus Flower,
2) Tiki God,
3) 'Fiji Temple',
4) 4 Hula dancers and support crew on flat raft.
Machine 8: (PCC Machin e #2) All have 'Polynesian Cultural Center' on them. Located in outside a gift shop called “Ulu”, this is located right after you do the Hawaiian Journey Theatre. PCC admission is required. Designs are:
1) Tiki God
2) Three Hula Dancers
3) 'Double Mulled Canoe'
4) Temple.
Retired 9: (PCC Machine #3) All have 'Polynesian Cultural Center' on them. Located in front of Goo's Plantation Store. Designs are:
