102 Bienville Blvd Dauphin Island, AL , 36528 Phone: 251-861-7500 Website The Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL) is Alabama's primary marine education and research center. DISL is the home site of the Marine Environmental Sciences Consortium and was founded by an act of the Alabama State Legislature in 1971. It also has a public aquarium specializing in estuarine organisms.
The facilities are located on the East end of Dauphin Island, and occupy grounds formerly owned by the US Air Force for the 693rd Radar Squadron. It is located across the street from historic Fort Gaines.
Machine 2: The machine is now located next to the gift shop. Costs 76 cents per design. All have 'Alabama Aquarium' and Dauphin Island Sea Lab' on them:
1) Hermit crab,
2) Octopus,
3) Angelfish,
4) Seahorse.
Retired 1: All have 'The Estuarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab' on them, 1) Hermit crab, 2) Octopus, 3) Fish, 4) Seahorse.
