Wake up to dramatic caldera vistas at the summit of Kilauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. The Volcano House hotel is perched on the rim of Kilauea caldera with a view toward Halema‘uma‘u crater. Drawing upon a storied history dating back to 1846, The restored Volcano House offers 34 historic guest rooms, a dining room, snack bar, lounge, and gift shop, along with cultural events and demonstrations. Volcano House also manages 10 newly refurbished camper cabins in the nearby Namakanipaio Campground.

The Volcano House is located across the street from the Kilauea Visitors Center. The Volcano House and the Kilauea Visitors Center have the same address.
Hours of admission: 7 days a week 9:00 am to 5;00 pm.
Plenty of free parking at the Kilauea Visitors Center.
A $25 fee is required for Park entry.

The penny machine is just inside the Volcano House main entry doors to the left. They all have 'Hawaii Volcanoes National Park':
