The Birmingham Zoo is the largest zoo in Alabama. The 122-acre zoo is home to almost 800 animals representing over 200 species, including many endangered species from six continents. The Zoo also participates in the AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) Species Survival Plans.
There now are now 2 machines (#5 & #6) and it is by the entrance/exit.

8) Parrot,
Token Machine 1 Designs are;
1) African Elephant, Copper color
2) Orangutan, Gold color
3) Komodo Dragon, Gold color
4) Red Panda. Copper color.
All have the Zoo logo on the back

2/12/2018 - machine pressing ok, but a little short (at least on new pennies). The machine is just inside the entrance/exit. If you ask the ticket booth sales woman you just want to press some pennies, she'll let you in without charging you the entrance fee. Free parking. (bjj) |
