The pier is located on 15th street and the boardwalk in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The approximately 1,000-foot-long pier is in the heart of the resort area. It has a bait-and-tackle shop with rod-and-reel rentals, and a snack bar/restaurant. No fishing license required. <p> A small fee is charged to walk onto the pier without fishing. Fee not required to access machine. Located near the power admission booth. <p> Hours vary by season. Pier operates from April through October and is open 24 hours from Memorial Day to Labor Day. <p> Machine 3: is still by the bait shop. $.76 each. designs are; <br> 1) 'Virginia Beach' a Lighthouse, a Dolphin and birds (V). <p> <b>Retired Machines:</b> <p> Retired 2: 1) 'Virginia beach' a Lighthouse, a Dolphin and birds (V). <br> Retired 3: 1) 'Virginia Beach' a Lighthouse with the Sun and a sailboat (V) <p> Visited 5/21/24 with no machine in site. One said that they had not put it back out this season, but she didn't know why.
