Founded in 1929, the museum is home to four National Historic Landmark vessels, including the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world. Mystic Seaport also features a working preservation shipyard, a re-created 19th-century seafaring village, exhilarating exhibits and a planetarium. Additionally, visitors can get out on the water and explore the historic Mystic River from mid-May through mid-October. Machine 3: is located outside of the Mystic Seaport Museum giftshop "Seaport Stores," which is a separate building down the road from the Mystic Seaport Museum itself. Address for that is 47 Greenmanville Ave, Mystic, CT 06355 and comes up at Mystic Seaport Bookstore. The Machine is located outside to the left of the door to the shop, and you don't have to pay admission to access it. The South museum entrance is closest.
