Chabot Space and Science Center is an Observatory and reserch center with two large telescopes in the Oakland hills off Interstate 580. The telescopes are available FREE every Friday and Saturday for the public to look through. Lots of displays to see and some interactive ones. Gift shop at front entrance/exit.
Two new 4 penny machines:
Machine 4 is downstairs near the Cafeteria. All have 'Chabot Space and Science Center' on them. Designs are:
1) Image of Museum & Telescope buildings,
2) Image of Logo, Earth and stars,
3) Image of Saturn and stars,
4) 'Dash to the Lab', a man rushing with a suitcase.
Machine 5 is on the second floor. near the walkway door. All have 'Chabot Space and Science Center' on the Designs are:
1) Image Image of Telescope building,
2) Image of the universe and Center logo
3) Space walking astronaut and earth
4) Space shuttle flying before dropping main rocket, Center logo
