Sydney Tower (also known as the AMP Tower, AMP Centrepoint Tower, Centrepoint Tower or just Centrepoint) is Sydney's tallest free-standing structure, and the second tallest in Australia (with the Q1 building on the Gold Coast being the tallest). It is also the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere (after Auckland's Sky Tower Tower). The Sydney. The tower stands 309 m (1,014 ft) and is only accessible from inside the Pitt Street Mall which is located between Pitt and Castlereagh Streets.

At this stage all machines are AU$2.00 for the customer to use. 100% “Blank Copper Coins” are pre-loaded in the machines and are dispensed between the rollers when the customer inserts the $2.00 coin. All machines are “Hand Crank” non-electric.

Machine 3: (2018) is located in the back of the gift shop. It takes $2 AUD and provides penny. Designs are:

Machine 4: (2018) Located in the Back of the Gift Shop. It takes $2 AUD and provides penny. Designs are:

2) 'My Lucky Penny Australia', Image of Australian Dingo, Opera House, bridge and skyline,
3) Australian Flag,
4) 'The Sydney Tower Eye', Tower and Opera House.

Token machine 1 is located in the front of the gift shop and costs $5 AUD. Designs are:
1) Koala,
2) Kangaroo,
3) Sydney Opera House.

Token machine 2 is located in the reception of the buffet restaurant and costs $5 AUD. Designs are:
1) Koala,
2) Kangaroo,
3) Sydney Opera House.

NOTE: The Koala and Kangaroo tokens are the exact same designs at the Katoomba 3 Sisters Information Center but they only cost $2 there.

6/27/22: Both machines are working fine albeit at an increased price of $2.50 - paid by contactless card payment.
Machine 4 is located immediately to the right as the shop you’re funneled through begins.
Machine 3 is located at the exit of the shop, practically outside the store itself.
If you just want the penny without going up the tower, this machine is readily available, and frankly I don’t think anyone would stop you going into the gift shop anyway.
